Washington defensive lineman Matt Ioannidis has been ruled out for the rest of the game with an arm injury, and rookie DE Chase Young was seen limping to the locker room after Clevelands latest drive.
This is obviously terrible news, as both players are big pieces of Washington’s defensive front. Ioannidis will not return to the game, so much of the load will be shouldered by Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne.
Reports show that Young went to the tunnel signaling that he might have had a groin injury, which is something that he was dealing with throughout training camp. Stay tuned for updates.
