The Washington Football Team suffered two key losses to the defensive line before halftime. Starters Matt Ioannidis and Chase Young both headed for the Washington locker room and will not return to Sunday’s game with injuries.

Ioannidis, who set up Washington’s first sack with a great stunt move, left in Cleveland’s second drive with an arm injury. He was quickly ruled out by the Football Team medical staff.

Young headed for the locker room after the next Browns series, walking off gingerly with a groin injury. He was also taken out of action very quickly by Washington. The No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft had a quiet game going against Browns right tackle Jack Conklin before departing.
