[autotag]Chase Elliott[/autotag] may not have made the 2023 NASCAR playoffs as a driver; however, it has been well-documented that Elliott is chasing another title for the No. 9 team. The Hendrick Motorsports driver made the Owners’ Championship and while it hasn’t been a focus among those talking about the playoffs, he received good news on Saturday night.
Elliott pushed the No. 9 car to the Round of 12 in the Owners’ Championship with three very solid tracks coming up next. Texas Motor Speedway is a place where Elliott ran well before wrecking last season while Talladega Superspeedway is the site of his last victory. Finally, the driver of the No. 9 car has two victories at the Charlotte ROVAL since its debut.

It may not be for a Drivers’ Championship but Elliott can seriously make a run to the Championship 4 at Phoenix Raceway. Elliott has truly knocked the rust off with four straight top-8 finishes. This is a good sign for the 2024 season as the Hendrick Motorsports driver has found his form; however, there is still something to aim for in 2023.
