Chase Dollander (5-4) pitched seven innings for the Vols, recording nine strikeouts, while allowing one run, three walks and six hits.
He totaled 105 pitches (69 strikes) against the Commodores.
Saturday’s victory clinched a series win for Tennessee.
Tennessee defeated Vanderbilt, 4-3 in 12 innings, in the series opener on Friday. Sunday’s series finale will take place at 1 p.m. EDT and will be televised by ESPN2.
