Former Tennessee baseball pitcher Chase Dollander earned first-team Minor League Baseball All-Star honors by Baseball America.
Dollander appeared in nine games for Colorado Rockies’ Double-A affiliate Hartford Yard Goats in 2024. He was selected in the first-round (No. 9 overall) in the 2023 Major League Baseball draft.
The former Vol ranks as MLB Pipeline’s No. 20 overall prospect and the No. 2 prospect for the Rockies.
Dollander (6-2) recorded a 2.59 ERA and 169 strikeouts for the Yard Goats in 2024.
Dollander (17-6) played for Tennessee from 2022-23, recording a 3.64 ERA, 228 strikeouts, 43 walks, while earning 2022 Southeastern Conference Pitcher of the Year honors.
He transferred to the Vols from Georgia Southern ahead of the 2022 season.
