Simply put, what a season it has been so far for Georgia Bulldogs standout Charlie Condon.
Likely the frontrunner for SEC Player of the Year, Condon has helped lead Georgia to a 31-12 record so far in year one of the Wes Johnson era, all the while posting some truly eye-opening stats along the way.
Across 43 games, Condon is currently leading the nation with 29 HR on the year, while also slashing .461/.567/1.090 with 61 RBI and three SB. For the season, Condon’s OPS also sits at a phenomenal 1.657 and is also currently leading college baseball and the SEC in a few other statistical categories, which includes batting average.
A season loaded with impressive performances, Condon made headlines once again this past weekend however, as he hit what was home run No. 29 on the year against Texas A&M, which broke the Georgia single-season record.

However, this long ball was also notable through the fact that it was home run No. 54 of his collegiate career, which also broke the all-time Georgia program record in what is only his second season playing in Athens.
Already a phenomenal season and career, the top MLB draft prospect still has time to continue adding to this impressive total as well, as Georgia has three weeks remaining in the regular season, followed by postseason play.
Will Condon now continue this stellar level of play over into the month of May?
