Charisma Osborne makes UCLA history in loss to Oregon State

Charisma Osborne makes UCLA history in heartbreaking loss to Oregon State on Friday.

The UCLA Bruins women’s basketball team lost in heartbreaking fashion as Talia von Oelhoffen hit a game-winner to give the Oregon State Beavers the win.

It was a wild game full of lead changes down the stretch, but UCLA came up just short of a resume-building win against a top-15 team in the country on the road.

However, Charisma Osborne made UCLA history in the game. She passed Monique Billings for the most games played in UCLA women’s basketball history with her 142nd game played.

Osborne also chipped in 13 points and five rebounds in the loss, but the redshirt senior has been a massive part of the team’s success this year.

Osborne is averaging 15.2 PPG with 4.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists on the year, and the Moreno Valley, Ca native has now etched her name into UCLA record books.

She is far from done with UCLA making a run for a PAc-12 title and looking to be a tough out in the NCAA tournament.
