Chargers Week 3 injury report: CB Chris Harris Jr. out, EDGE Joey Bosa questionable

The Chargers released the final injury report ahead of the Week 3 matchup against the Chiefs.

The Chargers had their final practice on Friday ahead of the Week 3 matchup against the Chiefs.

Cornerback Chris Harris Jr. is ruled out with a shoulder injury again.

Head coach Brandon Staley said Harris fell on his shoulder last week, adding that it would not be long term, but this is the second consecutive week that he will not be available.

It’s likely that defensive lineman Justin Jones will also miss the action for the second-straight week, as he is doubtful with a calf injury.

Having Jones back would have been major, considering the defense struggled immensely against the run last Sunday versus the Cowboys.

Edge defender Joey Bosa, who did not practice at all this week, is questionable with a foot and ankle injury.

Getting pressure on quarterback Patrick Mahomes is crucial and not having the team’s best pass rusher on the field would be a big loss.

If Bosa can not go, Kyler Fackrell and Uchenna Nwosu will be the starters, while rookie Chris Rumph II would then likely see an uptick in snaps.
