Good news came on Friday morning regarding tight end Donald Parham.
After being hospitalized following a frightening occurrence in the Chargers’ loss to the Chiefs on Thursday night, the team announced that Parham suffered a concussion and is resting comfortably, alert, and expected to be discharged from the hospital today.
Parham suffered the concussion on Los Angeles’ first drive, attempting to reel in a pass from Justin Herbert in the back of the end zone. As he went down, his head slammed against the turf hard.
As a result, a backboard and stretcher were needed to take him off the field, where he was then sent to the hospital.
This season, Parham has 20 catches for 190 yards and three touchdowns.
