Chargers place WR Keenan Allen on COVID-19 list

The Chargers will be without their star receiver in the season finale.

Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen’s 2020 season has come to an end.

Allen was already dealing with a hamstring injury heading into the season finale against the Chiefs. But he was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday, solidifying his unavailability.

It remains to be seen if Allen tested positive or if he came in close contact with someone who has it.

Allen, who was named to his fourth Pro Bowl, finishes the season with 92 receptions, 992 yards and eight touchdowns.
