It might be a little too late since the Chargers’ playoff chances are slim to none now, but they could be getting some reinforcements back on the defensive side of the ball to help show some life in their final stretch of the season.
Cornerback Chris Harris Jr. returned to practiced on Wednesday after missing the past six games with a foot injury. Los Angeles designated Harris to return from injured reserve and have 21 days to decide whether to place him on the active 53-man roster.
Coach Anthony Lynn said that Harris will unlikely play this Sunday against the Jets.
Defensive end Joey Bosa, who’s missed the last two games with a concussion, was cleared from the concussion protocol and was a full participant during practice.
Bosa will likely revert back to the starting lineup this weekend.
