The Athletic’s Shams Charania reports Boston Celtics veteran guard Marcus Smart has been cleared of the coronavirus since Friday.
The Oklahoma State product was the only member of the Celtics roster to test positive for the virus after playing the Utah Jazz not long before center Rudy Gobert’s own positive diagnosis forced the suspension of league activities on the 11th of March.
Since it was revealed by the Texan that he had the virus behind the pandemic creating chaos the world over on March 19th, Smart has taken an active role in advocating for others to self-isolate at home as he has been doing to avoid spreading it to others.

Asymptomatic and in otherwise good health and spirits since, the defensive specialist even appeared on CNN to make the case for preemptive physical distancing, joining a growing number of NBA players and personalities doing the same.
We couldn’t be happier you are well, Marcus.
