During the second quarter of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 15 showdown against the Cleveland Browns, third-year defensive back Chamarri Conner took a scary hit that sent him to the locker room.

Conner needed help getting off the field after taking a hard hit in Week 15. He was escorted to the locker room to be examined.
Shortly thereafter, the Chiefs announced that Conner sustained a concussion in a post to their official Twitter account.

How long will Chamarri Conner be out?
Conner will be placed in concussion protocol, and won’t be able to return to Kansas City’s matchup against Cleveland.

Christian Roland-Wallace is likely to get more snaps now that Conner has been ruled out. Expect defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo to get creative in the second half to adjust for Conner’s absence as the Chiefs fight for their 13th win.
