ACC Game Of The Year

Clemson at Notre Dame, Nov. 7

This was going to be a big deal before, but now that Notre Dame is in the ACC 15-team mix, this takes on a life of its own. This could be the first of two showdowns with the top two teams going the ACC Championship, but the battle in South Bend will be big enough to be among the biggest games of the regular season.

The Irish could lose at Pitt, and on the wrong day, Clemson could get tripped up by Virginia or Miami, but be shocked if both teams aren’t 7-0.

5 Other Interesting ACC Games

This is all very, very fluid, but at the moment if the ACC slate stays relatively close to the original version …

1. Virginia Tech at Pitt, Nov. 21
2. Notre Dame at North Carolina, Nov. 27
3. Miami at Clemson, Oct. 10
4. Pitt at Clemson, Nov. 28
5. Florida State at Miami, Sept. 26

It’s not necessarily about who’s about to get fired – especially this year.

1. Manny Diaz, Miami
2. Dave Doeren, NC State
3. Dino Babers, Syracuse
4. Mike Norvell, Florida State
5. Justin Fuente, Virginia Tech
