CFN 2020 Preseason All-America Team: Offense

Who are the best and brightest stars going into the 2020 season? The CFN Preseason All-America Team – the offense.

CFN 2020 All-America Offensive Guards

CFN 2020 First Team All-America Offensive Guards

1. Trey Smith, Sr. Tennessee
One of the best stories in college football, the 6-6, 335-pound former super-recruit got through a scary blood clotting problem, and now he’s a veteran guard with the upside to work at tackle at the next level. He’s a technician with a terrific combination of size and quickness.

2. Marquis Hayes, Jr. Oklahoma
The 6-5, 344-pounder went from being a decent backup to a destructive force on the left side of the Sooner line. He can move, but he’s at his best when he gets to blast away for the ground game.

CFN 2020 Second Team All-America Offensive Guards

3. Wyatt Davis, Jr. Ohio State
He was a big recruit, even for Ohio State. The star blocking prospect turned into a force once he took over a starting spot last season, with the quickness and athleticism to work at tackle, even though he’ll likely be a 6-4, 315-pound guard.

4. Cole Schneider, Jr. UCF
While he might not be a huge road grader, the 6-4, 312-pounder should grow into a bigger factor for an already great offensive front – now he knows what he’s doing with 25 games of starting experience. Get him on the move, and forget it.

CFN 2020 Honorable Mention All-Americans

6. Deonte Brown, Sr. Alabama
7. Blaise Andries, Jr. Minnesota
8. Cain Madden, Sr. Marshall
9. Lecitus Smith, Jr. Virginia Tech
10. Josh Watson, Sr. Washington State
11. Bryce Hargrove, Sr. Pitt
12. Navaughn Donaldson, Sr. Miami
