The NBA revealed the 10 players selected by fans, media and current players on Thursday night to start in the All-Star Game next month with LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo earning the most votes in each conference.
James and Antetokounmpo will serve as team captains and draft the All-Star Game rosters from the pool of players voted as starters and reserves in each conference. The reserve players, as voted on by coaches, will be unveiled on Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. ET on TNT.
After the starters were named, the NBA released the full voting results from the fans, media and current NBA players. James earned the most votes across the three voting categories among Western Conference frontcourt players while Antetokounmpo led all frontcourt players in the Eastern Conference.
As the fan voting portion concluded on Monday, the process has come under scrutiny with several players earning votes ahead of more qualified candidates.
Boston Celtics rookie Tacko Fall, who has appeared in four NBA games this season, placed sixth on the final fan returns with 947,378 votes, ahead of notable players like teammate Jaylen Brown, Ben Simmons and Bradley Beal among others.

The 7-foot-5 center even earned seven votes from other NBA players and finished 21st in the player voting among the Eastern Conference frontcourt. Players like Gordon Hayward, Serge Ibaka, Aaron Gordon and OG Anunoby all earned fewer player votes than Fall.
Fall has spent the majority of the season in the G League with the Maine Red Claws. In 17 games played, Fall is averaging 13.5 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.8 blocks. Fall is fourth in the G League in blocks and ninth in rebounds among all players.
Fall has become a fan favorite this season with the Celtics given his personality and skillset on the court. His popularity has only skyrocketed since leaving UCF last year and it showed in the All-Star Game voting results.
