The Boston Celtics dominated the Miami Heat on the road to the tune of 143-110 this past Thursday night. It spoiled the first tilt between the two Eastern Conference rivals since the Heat had traded for former Celtics draft pick Terry Rozier.
For much of the contest, it seemed like Boston could not miss from anywhere on the floor, shooting nearly 65% overall, 55% from beyond the arc, and a near-perfect 19-of-20 from the free throw line. What can we take from such a drubbing in terms of where the new-look Heat are at in the order of the East?
More importantly, does this blowout Boston win suggest that a postseason collision with Miami could be any less fraught than it has been in recent years for the Celtics?
The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast weighed in on the win postgame. Check it out above!
