Celtics remain atop ‘Hoops Tonight’ power rankings despite loss to Milwaukee Bucks

Boston appears as poised as anyone in the NBA to make a deep run into the 2024 postseason, and it looks as if All-NBA forward Jayson Tatum is finally starting to hit his stride.

With most teams in the NBA now having played about half of their games for the 2023-24 season, we have a pretty good idea of who each ball club is. And for this week, the Boston Celtics still find themselves atop the power rankings of the eponymous host of the Volume “Hoops Tonight with Jason Timpf” podcast’s power rankings for the league.

Despite a rough loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on the heels of a back-to-back overtime win vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves, Timpf still has the Celtics as top dogs. Boston appears as poised as anyone in the NBA to make a deep run into the 2024 postseason, and it looks as if All-NBA forward Jayson Tatum is finally starting to hit his stride.

As the rest of the team also seems to be settling into their role, Timpf took some time to explain why he has Boston atop the Association still in a recent clip.
