Celtics player report card: Boston beats the Bucks in overtime

A more granular look at Boston’s overtime win over Milwaukee.

The Boston Celtics beat the reigning NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks 122 – 113 at TD Garden Friday night, earning their second home win of the season with both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton out for the game.

It took an overtime period to get the job done — to say nothing of a red-hot performance from a player who was coming off of the bench just a few games ago — in the face of some sloppier play and worse defense than the team has been playing of late, but a win is a win and at 6 – 6 after securing one, the Celtics can’t be too picky just yet.

Let’s take a more granular look at each of the major players in Boston’s win against Milwaukee Friday.
