Celtics on the losing end of a championship-level basketball game vs. Nuggets

Boston did not bounce back from an unexpected loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

This was not how the game was supposed to go, at least in the eyes of the Boston Celtics‘ star players in what was widely seen as a potential finals preview. After dropping their second game vs. the reigning NBA champion Denver Nuggets this season in a 115-109 defeat that made for just their second losing streak this season, Boston did not bounce back from an unexpected loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Instead, the Celtics licked their wounds postgame as poor decision-making, turnovers, offensive bewilderment, subpar defense apart from on Nikola Jokic, and an inefficient night from the stripe combined to sink the Celtics.

NBC Sports Boston’s Eddie House and Drew Carter joined Amina Smith to talk over the loss and what went wrong for the team on “Celtics Postgame Live”.
