The owner of quite a charmed life, Hall of Fame Boston Celtics point guard Bob Cousy turned 95 years young this past Wednesday. To celebrate the life and legacy of the Cooz while he is still with us, the host of the NBC Sports Boston “Celtics Talk” podcast, Chris Forsberg, got together with the so-called Houdini of the Hardwood, as Cousy has been called for a nickname, for an exclusive interview.
The duo of course talks about his career with Boston and ties to the team since, his role in getting the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), his role shaping the sport, and the state of the game in today’s league among several other topics.
Check out this much-watch interview with Cousy for yourself in the clip embedded below for a first-hand window into an era with vanishingly few witnesses left to talk about it.
