Celtics Lab 81: Finding some resolve for a struggling Boston squad with the new year

In light of the negativity surrounding their recent play, we decided to come up with what the team should resolve to do in 2022.

With January and a new year just around the corner, attention for most of us tends to turn to the things we have had trouble with in the previous year, and what we can do in the coming one to avoid the mistakes of the past that have kept us from being our best selves.

And the Boston Celtics certainly are no exception whether you are talking about them as a group of individual players who have a lot of things to improve on, or as a team that is far from the coherent, competitive squad they (and we) want them to become. In the case of the Celtics, however, we hope whatever New Year’s resolutions Boston comes up with last longer than ours usually do.

To that end, the hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast put together a list of resolutions for the coming year to try and take a positive spin on a spate of negative play.

We’ve all been in a slump before, and with the passing of one of our least favorite years in modern history, we all have a chance to start over.

Listen to the podcast embedded above to hear what we want to see from the Celtics moving forward, as well as our usual news roundup from Cameron Tabatabie and Alex Goldberg (Justin Quinn was on lost cat duty for this pod, which he found).
