The Boston Celtics are a bit more banged up after wresting a 122 – 113 overtime win against the Milwaukee Bucks at TD Garden on Friday night. In addition to All-Star forward Jaylen Brown’s ongoing recovery from a strained right hamstring, a trio of his teammates join him on the injury report in the aftermath of the hard-earned victory.
Veteran big man Al Horford is listed as questionable for Saturday night’s road tilt with the Cleveland Cavaliers, wing Josh Richardson is also listed as questionable with right knee tendinopathy, and shooting guard Romeo Langford is listed as probable with a sprained right ankle.
A potential loss of Horford, in particular, will be hard for the Celtics to adapt to given the unusual size of the Cavs’ frontcourt, which may be why the team recalled big man Bruno Fernando from the Maine Celtics on assignment.
