Celtics injury report: Jaylen Brown, Al Horford out vs. Portland

Jaylen Brown will miss a second consecutive game for the Celtics on Saturday.

The Celtics will be short-handed on the road Saturday night in Portland, as the team announced that Jaylen Brown and Al Horford will both miss the game due to injury. Romeo Langford, who is dealing with a right ankle sprain, is listed as questionable.

Horford (low back stiffness), scored 21 points and had nine assists in a loss to the Jazz on Friday. Brown (right hamstring tightness), missed the game against the Jazz and last played on Dec. 1 in a win over the 76ers. Celtics head coach Ime Udoka said earlier this week that Brown was dealing with the injury during the Sixers game, and noted that Brown would be day-to-day “going forward.”

Saturday’s game will tip off at 10 p.m. ET.
