Celtics have big road test vs. Los Angeles Clippers, Lakers

The Boston Celtics are entering a difficult stretch of games on their West Coast road trip after splitting the first two contests of it to the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings with a loss and a win, respectively. First they face the red-hot Los Angeles Clippers, who have won nine straight games when healthy. The key for the Celtics will be defending the paint and forcing the Clippers to take tough shots.

On Christmas Day, the Celtics play their biggest rival, the Los Angeles Lakers. LeBron James and Anthony Davis are playing great basketball this season and will be motivated for the holiday matchup. The Lakers are an elite defensive team that will try to wear down the Celtics with physicality and size. Boston has the talent to match up but must come ready to play with intensity and effort.

The hosts of the “Talkin’ Cs” and CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast linked up to talk over the two tilts in L.A. this week.
