The Boston Celtics will have at least one starter in the 2020 NBA All-Star Game.
The NBA revealed the final results of fan voting, and Boston’s All-NBA point guard Kemba Walker has secured one of the two starting backcourt positions in the February exhibition.
The UConn product beat out Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets despite being behind in fan voting for much of the voting period. Walker will be joined by the Atlanta Hawks’ Trae Young in the backcourt.
The East frontcourt starters include the Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo, who will be the East captain with the most overall fan votes.
