The Los Angeles Clippers finally figured out how to integrate James Harden into their system, and became one of the hottest teams in the NBA as a result. At least until they ran into the Boston Celtics on Saturday afternoon, with Boston walloping the Clips 145-108.
The game’s first quarter was a close one, with L.A. looking like the team that had turned a rough patch of play around in recent weeks. But in the second quarter, Boston put on the clamps while staying hot from deep, going up by 21 in the first half. The Celtics stayed hot in the final two frames to see six players — including Oshae Brissett (12 points) and a monster game from Neemias Queta (14 points, 12 rebounds) off the bench — in double figures.
Jayson Tatum stood out among the starters in particular, with 30 points and 5 boards on an efficient 9-of-16 shooting overall.

With the victory, the Celtics retake the NBA’s best record at 22-6, and next face the Los Angeles Lakers in the same arena on Christmas Day.
