Celtics alum Dennis Schroder gets 16 points, 5 boards, 6 assists vs. Czech National Team with Germany

The former Boston alumni is playing with the German National Team in FIBA qualifier exhibitions.

The Boston Celtics and Dennis Schroder experiment did not work out too well for either part in retrospect, but it wasn’t for a lack of trying. The German point guard will always be a Celtics alum despite the misfiring tenure he had with the team and is one of several Boston alumni currently taking part in FIBA qualifiers around the globe this summer, joining the likes of current Celtics big man Al Horford, Boston forward Danilo Gallinari, and several others no longer with the team in representing their native country.

For Schroder, that has been with the German National Team, where he recently put up a very impressive 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists in an exhibition contest against the Czech National Team.
