With both Kemba Walker and Jayson Tatum having previously had songs written about their NBA game in the past, now veteran Boston guard Marcus Smart has a tune of his own dedicated to him.
The Flower Mound native finds himself the subject of a new rap song by New York City-based rappers Stove God Cook$ and Flee Lord produced by Zoomo on a new hip hop compilation produced by popular New York radio station host of Hot 97, Peter Rosenberg. The Big Apple radio personality shared that he named the song for the Celtic defensive specialist (via Hot 97’s Krista B.) ” because he’s grittiest, hardest working player in the NBA.”

“I think we did him justice,” added Rosenberg. The single is indeed a grimy track with a hypnotizing beat that evokes the way the Texan guard can sometimes lull opponents to sleep before deflecting the ball away from them for a steal.
And while the track is too explicit to share on this network, feel free to check out the sample included in the linked article about the track on Hot 97’s website for yourself.
