The Seahawks may be sinking fast in the NFC West, but the rest of the league still seems keen on picking up the players they jettison. When former starting right cornerback Tre Flowers was waived a few weeks ago, the Bengals snapped him up right away. Now, another former Seattle player is getting a new home quick.
According to a report by Mike Garafolo at NFL Network, Cedric Ogbuehi is signing with the Ravens practice squad.
The #Ravens are signing veteran OT Cedric Ogbuehi to their practice squad, with the expectation he’ll be elevated to the active roster soon, source says. Baltimore is on a bye this week but starting right tackle Patrick Mekari suffered a high-ankle sprain Sunday.

Seattle released Ogbuehi Monday ahead of its ill-fated matchup with the Saints. He was originally a first-round pick by Cincinnati and has played both tackle spots. After four years with the Bengals and one with the Jaguars, Ogbuehi spent the last season and a half with the Seahawks. He only started one game this year though, playing 48 snaps on offense.
Baltimore is currently 5-2, good for second-place in the AFC North after losing to Cincinnati 41-17.
