CBS Sports announced on Thursday that they will re-air nine classic NCAA Tournament basketball games beginning on Saturday with three set to run throughout the day.
Beginning at Noon with the 1982 National Championship between North Carolina and Georgetown, CBS will replay three classic games each on Saturday and Sunday with three more matchups set to run on Saturday, March 29. The games selected were some of the most iconic in history.
Of course, the 2020 NCAA Tournament was scheduled to begin on Thursday but was canceled last week due to the coronavirus pandemic. The NCAA also canceled all remaining winter and spring championships.
This is STILL March.

Among the games to air, the most recent National Championship game between Virginia and Texas Tech that needed an overtime period after going down to the wire in regulation. The title game featured several players now in the NBA, from Texas Tech’s Jarrett Culver to Virginia’s De’Andre Hunter, Ty Jerome and Kyle Guy.
