CBS Sports predicts intriguing bowl destination for Texas A&M

It’s never too early for college football bowl projections, and for the Texas A&M Aggies who currently sit at 3-3, coming off their second consecutive defeat after falling to the Alabama Crimson Tide 24-20 last Saturday. It’s going to take one heck of an effort in the second half of the season to reach a respectable bowl and finish strong after a lackluster start so far.

Earlier this week, CBS Sports Senior writer Jerry Palm released his brand new College Football Bowl Predictions for the 2022 season, which happened to include the Fightin’ Texas Aggies in a very interesting potential matchup with the TCU Horn frogs in the Texas Bowl, set for Dec. 28th.

TCU is having what many would consider a polar opposite season to Texas A&M, achieving an undefeated 5-0 season and a 13 ranking in the AP poll so far this year. And let’s be honest, Jerry Palm must have some confidence in the Aggies if he’s predicting this matchup, and maybe that confidence is reasonable with six winnable games in the second half for an Aggies team with positive vibes after playing their tails off against Alabama last Saturday night.
