The Washington Huskies are poised to set a school record during the 2024 NFL Draft for the most amount of players selected in one year. With 13 invitations to the NFL Combine, the runners up for the national championship could hear former members of their roster called early and often in April.
The latest mock draft from CBS Sports’ Kyle Stackpole suggests that the Huskies could set another school record during April’s draft, tabbing four players to be selected in the first round. Washington’s previous record is three first round picks, which was set during the 2015 draft when defensive tackle Danny Shelton, linebacker Shaq Thompson, and cornerback Marcus Peters were all selected within the top 32.
