There have been some disappointments for LSU this season so far, but the play of receiver [autotag]Malik Nabers[/autotag] has not been among them.
After a breakout 2022 campaign, Nabers is off to an even hotter start in 2023. Through six games, he ranks second in the nation with 771 receiving yards, and he also has six touchdowns on the year.
That’s particularly impressive when you consider he’s splitting targets with [autotag]Brian Thomas Jr.[/autotag], who also ranks in the top 10 with 603 yards and leads the FBS with nine touchdowns.
With Nabers potentially in for a huge season, CBS Sports’ Chris Trapasso projected him as a top-10 selection, joining the Arizona Cardinals with pick No. 10.
Nabers looks like a first-round wideout, and the Cardinals need to start building the core of pass-catching weapons.
Adding a player like Nabers would certainly aid in the development of Kyler Murray, who is still yet to play this season after tearing his ACL last year.
