Imagine the Minnesota Vikings’ offense with Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen, Dalvin Cook, K.J. Osborn and Irv Smith Jr. at the skilled positions. But this offense comes with a twist.
It has Lamar Jackson at quarterback.
During a segment on CBS Sports Radio, Zach Gelb went all in for the pipe dream scenario that put the Baltimore Ravens’ electric quarterback under center for the Vikings.
“Imagine the creativity if the Ravens can’t get a deal done with Lamar Jackson, and Lamar Jackson doesn’t want to get a deal done with the Baltimore Ravens,” said Gelb. “And you get to just simply see Lamar with Justin Jefferson and Dalvin Cook. That is a high octane offense if I’ve ever seen one. That is an offense that you would love to play Madden football in. That would be a whole lot of fun.”

Kirk Cousins fans won’t love the thought of Jackson just commandeering the starting position.
Would Jackson on the Vikings be everyone’s go-to team on Madden? Probably. Would it be the most exciting team-up on paper since “The Avengers”? You better believe it.
But Cousins is coming off a season where he threw for 4,221 passing yards, 33 touchdowns and only seven interceptions. And now, he’ll be playing under the same coach that just served as the offensive coordinator for the Super Bowl-winning Los Angeles Rams.
Keep the video game controller on ice. Captain Kirk’s voyage isn’t quite done in Minnesota.
