In just over a week, Deion Sanders and the Colorado football team will make the trip to Forth Worth to take on the TCU Horned Frogs in Week 1 of the 2023 college football season.
Despite Coach Prime’s best efforts to quickly rebuild the Colorado program, most national analysts are not exactly high on the Buffs heading into the season.
But that is certainly not the case for Randy Cross. A mainstay of the CBS Sports show “Inside College Football,” Cross recently went out on a limb and made a bold prediction for Colorado’s Week 1 matchup at TCU.
“I’m not gonna discount what Deion Sanders is gonna do at Colorado, and I think it gets started with an upset win at TCU.”
A win at TCU for the Buffs would certainly be the top story in college football in Week 1 and could help propel Colorado in the right direction a lot sooner than most expect.
While a win at TCU won’t come easy, I for one am not going to discount Coach Prime and the Buffs.
