The rumors were true. CBS announced today they’ve signed former Wisconsin Badger J.J. Watt to a deal as an NFL studio analyst.
Watt will be in-studio with James Brown, Bill Cowher, Boomer Esiason, Nate Burleson, Phil Simms and others during NFL Sundays as games approach and conclude.
The news comes after Watt retired from the NFL last season after a 12-year career. There may be a few scheduling conflicts this fall in his first year with CBS, as he will be enshrined into the Wisconsin Athletics Hall Of Fame sometime in September and added to the Houston Texans’ Ring of Honor on October 1.
