Michigan State basketball received a high seed in Andy Katz’ initial NCAA Tournament bracket projection released on Tuesday.

Katz has the Spartans landing as a No. 3 seed in the Midwest Region of his bracket projection. He has the Spartans facing off against No. 14 seed Norfolk State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Michigan State is 14-2 overall and 5-0 in Big Ten play. The Spartans are in the midst of a nine-game winning streak that dates back to the Maui Invitational in November.

Next up for the Spartans is a home game against Penn State on Wednesday. Tipoff from the Breslin Center is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.
