A day after Alabama’s Patrick Surtain Jr. wowed the scouting world with a standout athletic display at the Crimson Tide pro day, South Carolina cornerback Jaycee Horn somehow managed to upstage his fellow SEC draft prospect.
Horn, the son of former NFL wide receiver Joe Horn, put on a show at the Gamecocks pro day. The Browns, like all 32 NFL teams, were in attendance in some capacity. But Cleveland already knows Horn and his prodigious talents well. Horn admitted he’s already met with the Browns at least twice since the draft season started.
“I had a couple meetings with Cleveland, another good organization with great history, another team that’s on the come up in the league, had a great year and I feel like it’d be a blessing to play there,” Horn said in his media session.
Horn is no safe bet to last to the Browns first-round pick at No. 26 overall. And it’s less likely after a fabulous workout that saw the well-muscled Horn check every box on the athletic sheet,
Jaycee Horn is a CB prospect in the 2021 draft class. He scored a 10 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 1 out of 1748 CB from 1987 to 2021.

He’s an aggressive, physical type of cover corner who loves to make plays on the ball in the air.
