The Bella Twins will always have a special place in the hearts of some WWE fans, but with Brie and Nikki on to their next ventures, the Cavinder Twins are aiming to make their own mark of the company — and may have just received a social media seal of approval from the Bellas.
In a TikTok video posted over the weekend, likely from the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles, Haley and Hanna Cavinder did a little dancing with Brie and Nikki, with the caption “when the Bella Twins passed the torch to us.”

The Cavinders first rose to prominence during their time as college basketball players, first at Fresno State and later at Miami. While legitimately talented at hoops — especially Haley, who was a second-team All-ACC selection this past season — the twins attracted most of their attention for racking up a large social media following and becoming pioneers in the still-young Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) movement over the past few years.
Haley and Hanna signed to the WWE’s NIL program in December 2021, and unlike some of the other college athletes who are simply getting a taste of what pro wrestling has to offer, have been vocal about their intent to train for in-ring careers. The Cavinders’ agent claimed in an April interview that the sisters would report to the WWE Performance Center this spring, and they made their NXT television debut (albeit in a very limited capacity) in June.
As for the twins known formerly as the Bellas, Brie and Nikki announced they were done with WWE and leaving those identities behind back in March. They launched a podcast with the help of SiriusXM earlier this year and are focused on entrepreneurship and entertainment opportunities under their previous family name of Garcia.
Considering the titles, WWE Hall of Fame nod and other honors Brie and Nikki racked up during their WWE careers, Haley and Hanna have their work cut out for them to approach anything like the same level. But at least they’re starting off on the right foot, or so it would seem, with a co-sign from the original practitioners of twin magic.
