Catholics vs. COVID: Notre Dame football sees no new positive tests

The roller coaster ride continues on a year unlike any we’ve ever seen and hopefully unlike and we’ll ever experience again.

Just two weeks ago the news broke that Notre Dame had to postpone their trip to take on Wake Forest because of a COVID-19 outbreak on the football team.

Just 14 days later we can say that Notre Dame has bounced back incredibly strong and reported no new positive tests on the football team on tests that were conducted in the last week.

284 such tests were given and zero of them came back positive.

As of Monday, Oct. 12 there are just two players who remain in isolation while none are currently in quarantine.

It’s quite the quick turnaround for a team that you wondered just days ago, if they’d be able to host Florida State.
