What exactly was written on Logan Roy’s handwritten note in the latest episode of Succession?

We have some questions about the latest episode of Succession.

Warning: DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN’T WATCHED EPISODE 4 OF SUCCESSION SEASON 4.

Ready?

Ok.

Welcome to our Succession Power Rankings! Each week of the show’s ten-episode final season, For The Win will chat about the latest episode to see how everyone in the Succession universe is doing. Let’s dig into it.

After last week’s episode of Succession became the highest-rated episode of any show ever on IMDB, this week’s episode was going to be critical.

During this episode, “Honeymoon States”, we learn the late Logan Roy left a note in a safe outlining his wishes for what should happen upon his death. While that includes funeral arrangements, it also potentially references who he wanted to take over for him as CEO.

We don’t know when the note was written, but we do know that Kendall’s name is included — though it was either underlined or struck through.

RELATED: Avoiding major Succession spoilers is simple: Watch it live. It’s appointment TV.

We also know that Karl and Frank were the first people to see the note and that they didn’t want the “little princess” to screw up their plans. Or did he say the little princes?

Who was Karl referring to? Was it Kerry, who was at least aware of some note? Other possibilities include Gerri, Marcia, Siobhan, Tom, Roman, or even Kendall.

Also at least somewhat noteworthy: Cousin Greg’s name is included as “an addendum of miscellaneous matters” but in pencil and with a question mark.

Here is what else is happening:

Here’s where you can stream New Girl now that it’s no longer on Netflix

New Girl is leaving Netflix. No, this isn’t one of Winston’s pranks.

For fans of the the FOX TV series “New Girl”, streaming the show on Netflix has been a source of comfort for the last decade.

Which is why many of those same fans were rightfully panicked when they went to hang out with Jess, Nick, Schmidt and Winston only to find the series officially left the platform on April 9, 2023.

There is good news, however. The show has simply switched streaming platforms. According to Variety, the gang in apartment 4D will be available to stream in full on Hulu and Peacock beginning April 17:

“New Girl” will be available on Hulu and Peacock beginning April 17, 2023. Under a shared agreement between Disney and NBCUniversal, Peacock and Hulu will share streaming rights to all seven season of the show, comprising 146 episodes in total.

The week between the show leaving Netflix and arriving on Hulu and Peacock was long and dark (despite the other wonderful streaming options) but we made it.

As Jake Johnson said, what’s the difference? Just switch accounts and keep on watching.

Love Is Blind fans were outraged as Netflix’s reunion livestream malfunctioned

Love Is Blind fans went all in on Netflix for this long delay.

Netflix got into quite a bit of hot water on Sunday after the highly-anticipated Love Is Blind reunion livestream malfunctioned at the absolute worst possible time.

As Love Is Blind fans were settling in for the night ahead of the 8 p.m. ET sharp start time, Netflix’s servers said otherwise. When clicking onto the episode, a live reunion special after the shocking events of season four, fans were greeted with an error message as the stream failed to load.

This isn’t the first time Netflix has dabbled in the streaming space, as back in March, the platform successfully livestreamed Chris Rock’s stand-up special. Unfortunately for Netflix, their second go-around with livestreaming didn’t go nearly as planned, as the wait for the Love Is Blind reunion lasted over an hour. Netflix then announced the episode would be filmed then released to the public as soon as possible.

Technological snafus happen to us all, but for Netflix to fumble the bag like this on such a highly-anticipated event is something else. Love Is Blind fans did not hold back in their jokes and criticisms of Netflix after the lengthy delay to the live reunion special.

Love is Blind fans were stunned this couple said ‘I do’ in the season 4 finale

We did NOT see this coming.

Love is Blind’s fourth season wrapped up on Netflix Friday as the remaining four couples walked to the altar to make the ultimate decision. Three couples ended up saying yes — only Paul and Micah left ring-less — but one couple in particular shocked everyone.

Chelsea said “I do” in last week’s cliffhanger, leading many to believe that her fiancé Kwame might hesitate and call things off. The couple didn’t seem destined to make it as she seemed significantly more invested in the relationship, to put it kindly. Kwame’s disinterest in Chelsea and their future seemed evident over the last couple of weeks, so it stood to reason that he was probably going to take the chance at the altar to back out.

Instead, Kwame said yes and the couple is officially husband and wife. Fans of the show were shocked, to say the least.

Love is Blind Season 4 weddings: Which couples said ‘I do’?

Before watching the last batch of episodes, see if we got any of this right!

Season 4 of Love is Blind, Netflix’s hit reality dating show/social experiment where hot people speed-date other hot people with the goal of rushing into marriage with a person they’re not allowed to see until after they propose, is a wrap. Four couples ended up at the altar tasked with choosing to say “I do” or have their hearts broken in front of their friends and family and millions of viewers.

Over the show’s first three seasons, six out of 17 couples ended up getting married, though only four of those couples are still together. We predicted which Season 4 couples would make the ultimate commitment and which would crash and burn. Let’s see how our guesses matched up with the results.

Note: Since Jackie turned out to be just awful and blew off her wedding dress try-on for drinks with equally awful Josh instead of letting her relationship with Marshall thrive, they aren’t included.

People are losing it over this old Dawson’s Creek clip

An absolutely perfect scene.

In 1998, The WB debuted a show called Dawson’s Creek as part of a string of shows aimed at the teen audience. It became an immediate hit, thrusting its young cast into instant stardom. If you were alive at the time, you probably remember some of the controversy stirred up by the racy storylines or at the very least some of the magazine covers featuring James Van Der Beek or Joshua Jackson.

What you probably don’t remember was this absolutely incredible shot from the show’s first season.

This clip, tweeted by Canadian filmmaker Jay Cheel, comes from Season 1, Episode 7, titled “Detention”, and features a stunt involving a basketball that seems so improbable some actually thought it might be computer animated.

This shot is so mind-blowingly impressive that it prompted a serious discussion from film fans on Twitter, as well as people impressed with Joshua Jackson’s ability to take one for the team.

Grogu getting a new ride in The Mandalorian made Din Djarin even more of a stressed-out dad

Grogu can communicate now, and it’s wonderful.

Grogu, more affectionately known as Baby Yoda, has captured the hearts of  The Mandalorian fans — and the Mandalorian himself — since his cute face popped up in November of 2019. Well, we’re now in the third season of the streaming Disney+ series, and 22 chapters later, he’s still the absolute best.

Our favorite Mandalorian, Din Djarin (the incomparable Pedro Pascal), has morphed into an exhausted dad as he tries to keep Grogu from stealing fruit from markets, eating a frog-woman’s eggs or squeezing the very cute Anzellans repairing his favorite droid.

In the series’ latest episode, Chapter 23, Din Djarin and Grogu are reunited with their former droid pal, IG-11. Well, kind of.

If you remember, IG-11 was the bounty hunter droid that Mando stopped from killing Grogu in Chapter 1. It later was re-purposed by Kuiil to be a nanny droid whose mission was to protect our sweet green baby.

After IG-11 (voiced by Taika Waititi) sacrificed itself so the group could survive at the end of Season 1, Din Djarin made it his mission to once again bring it back to life.

Without the proper circuitry, however, IG-11 defaulted to the old murderbot settings. Not ideal. Enter the Anzellans, who came up with a pretty great fix: Let Grogu control the now-dubbed IG-12. What could go wrong?!

“Grogu is too young to operate heavy machinery.”

Immediately, our guy Mando knows this is a disaster in the making. Grogu, with a newfound voice, disagrees. It’s peak comedy and also the cutest thing we’ve ever seen.

Although things got much, much tenser later in the episode, everyone loved the entire sequence from seeing the Anzellans again (Bad baby! No squeezies!) to Grogu mashing that YES button all through the market.

DC’s Creature Commandos cast is absolutely LOADED

David Harbour leads the way on an impressive cast.

Earlier this year, James Gunn revealed all the movies and TV shows that would be a part of the first chapter of his new relaunch of the DC cinematic universe, beginning with an animated series written by Gunn called Creature Commandos. This series is based on one of the weirder and more obscure comic book titles in the DC library (a specialty of Gunn’s) focusing on a team of monsters fighting in World War II.

We’ve known nothing specific about the series, or indeed any of the upcoming DC titles, but now the cast of Creature Commandos has been revealed and frankly, it’s pretty impressive. James Gunn is coming out swinging with his first project as the head of DC, and we’re ready to dive into this brave new DC universe.

NASCAR had the TV pretty much to itself over Easter weekend, but it didn’t make much difference to the year’s overall trends.

The Cup Series dirt race from Bristol averaged a 1.88 Nielsen rating and 3.450 million viewers Sunday evening on FOX, per numbers from ShowBuzzDaily.com. That was down from a 2.19/4.007m for this race last year, although up fractionally from the most recent Cup race on FOX (COTA, 1.81/3.129m).

The Craftsman Truck race on Bristol’s dirt Saturday night averaged 0.61/1.057m on FS1, down fractionally from 0.65/1.167m last year but a healthy increase from the 0.37/644,000 that watched the previous Saturday’s race from Texas, which lacked a NASCAR lead-in.
