The game tips off at 7:30 p.m. and can be seen on YES and NBA TV.

Kevin Love (calf), Matthew Dellavedova (concussion), Dylan Windler (wrist) and Kevin Porter Jr. (personal) remain sidelined for Cleveland. But, the Cavs expect Darius Garland (shoulder) to play for the first time since January 2 even though he is listed as questionable.

The Nets are without Kevin Durant () Nic Claxton (right knee tendinopathy) and Spencer Dinwidde (ACL surgery).

The lines, courtesy of BetMGM

  • Point spread: Nets -6.5
  • Money line: Nets -275/Cavaliers +220
  • Over-under: 223.5
  • Player scoring props: James Harden 28.5 (-105 O/-120 U) – Kyrie Irving 26.5 (-110 O/-115 U) – Jeff Green 10.5 (+100 O/-125 U)
  • Miscellaneous player props: James Harden rebounds — 6.5 (-115 O/-110 U) – James Harden assists — 8.5 (-125 O/+100)

Place your legal, online sports bets in CO, IN, MI, NV, NJ, PA, TN and WV at BetMGM.

Advice and prediction

Difficult to imagine the Nets lost to this one, so the moneyline is a decent pick here. Don’t touch the spread, though — especially with chance of Garland returning and Durant out.

The best bets here are all James Harden-oriented. No KD? you better believe Harden is about to go off for 30-plus against the Cavs. Then BetMGM has his rebounds and assist over-unders at 6.5 and 8.5, respectively, while he’s had a triple-double each game since joining the Nets? The rebound number is better, but he’ll hit both of those, like he will the points.

The over on Kyrie Irving’s point total is a very good one, too.

Prediction: Nets 123, Cavaliers 119

Nets vs. Cavs: Betting odds, point spread on BetMGM for Jan. 20

Here’s all the betting information you need to know for the Brooklyn Nets’ January 20 matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Brooklyn Nets play the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, moneyline odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on BetMGM.

The game tips off at 7 p.m. and can be seen on YES.

While Brooklyn remains without Nic Claxton (right knee tendinopathy) and Spencer Dinwiddie (ACL surgery), the Cavaliers are much more depleted. Cleveland is without Kevin Love (calf), Matthew Dellavedova (concussion), Dylan Windler (wrist) and Kevin Porter Jr. (personal). Additionally, Collin Sexton (ankle) and Darius Garland (shoulder) are questionable to play.

The lines, courtesy of BetMGM

  • Point spread: Nets -10.5
  • Money line: Nets -550/Cavaliers +400
  • Over-under: 225.5
  • Player over-under scoring props: Kevin Durant 26.5 (-105 O/-120 U) – James Harden 25.5 (-120 O/-105 U) – Kyrie Irving (22.5 -120 O/-105 U) – Joe Harris 12.5 (-105 O/-115 U)

Place your legal, online sports bets in CO, IN, MI, NV, NJ, PA, TN and WV at BetMGM.

Advice and prediction

The over is without a doubt the best bet from Wednesday’s game. The Cavaliers don’t have a chance in this one, but they’re still going to put points on the board in response to Brooklyn’s barrage. If either Garland or Sexton plays, the over becomes an even easier target to hit

There isn’t a great second bet on this one. The player scoring props are tough with Irving making his return. The Nets can absolutely cover the double-digit spread, but there’s also the matter of Taurean Prince and Jarrett Allen potentially getting garbage time minutes.

If you’re going to go with a second bet, take the over on Irving’s scoring total.

Prediction: Nets 123, Cavaliers 111

Nets vs. Bucks: Betting odds, point spread on BetMGM for Jan. 18

Here’s all the betting information you need to know for the Brooklyn Nets’ January 18 matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Brooklyn Nets play the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, moneyline odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on BetMGM.

The game tips off at 7:30 p.m. and can be seen on TNT.

Kyrie Irving (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) is out again on Monday while Nic Claxton (right knee tendinopathy) remains unavailable, along with Spencer Dinwiddie (ACL surgery).

The lines, courtesy of BetMGM

  • Point spread: Nets -3.5
  • Money line: Nets -160/Bucks +135
  • Over-under: 238.5
  • Player over-under scoring props: Kevin Durant 29.5 (-105 O/-120 U) – James Harden 27.5 (-145 O/+115 U) – Joe Harris 12.5 (-145 O/+115 U)

Place your legal, online sports bets in CO, IN, MI, NV, NJ, PA, TN and WV at BetMGM.

Advice and prediction

Monday will not be the night Brooklyn gets it together on defense. Take the over in this one.

The Nets should win this one between Kevin Durant and James Harden’s firepower, but the second-best bet in this game is Harden’s scoring total. Although the over is a bit pricier than Durant’s, it’s the safer option.

That being said, if you’re looking for a third bet: since returning from his quarantine, Durant has scored 30-plus points three times in four opportunities.

Prediction: Nets 128, Bucks 124

Nets vs. Magic: Betting odds, point spread on BetMGM for Jan. 16

Here’s all the betting information you need to know for the Brooklyn Nets’ January 16 matchup with the Orlando Magic.

The Brooklyn Nets play the Orlando Magic on Saturday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, moneyline odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on BetMGM.

The game tips off at 6 p.m. and can be seen on YES Network.

Kyrie Irving (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) remains unavailable for Brooklyn, as do Nic Claxton (right knee tendinopathy) and Spencer Dinwiddie (ACL surgery). James Harden (trade pending) is questionable.

The Magic are without Evan Fournier (back) and Mo Bamba (COVID-19 health and safety protocols).

The lines, courtesy of BetMGM

  • Point spread: Nets -9.5
  • Money line: Nets -400/Magic +310
  • Over-under: 225.5

Place your legal, online sports bets in CO, IN, MI, NV, NJ, PA, TN and WV at BetMGM.

Advice and prediction

Take the Nets minus the points and the under in this one.

With or without James Harden, Brooklyn is going to be just fine against Orlando. They might be one game behind the Nets in the standings, but they are battling injuries with Markelle Fultz (ACL) out for the year and Fournier still unavailable. The Magic simply can’t keep up with Brooklyn’s offense.

The under is the riskier bet of the two. But, the Magic have scored under 100 points in each of their last four games, and while their defense has been just as bad, Orlando would not have hit the over set for this game in any of those contests despite surrendering 132 to Houston, 121 to Milwaukee and 124 to Boston. Their offense is struggling and Steve Nash is going to take advantage of whatever rest he can provide Kevin Durant.

Prediction: Nets 114, Magic 101

How the James Harden trade is impacting Nets title odds on BetMGM

The Brooklyn Nets’ acquisition of James Harden isn’t official yet, but BetMGM has already changed its odd on the 2021 NBA Finals winner.

The Los Angeles Lakers (+250), Los Angeles Clippers (+600) and Milwaukee Bucks (+700) are still among the top four favorites to win the 2021 NBA Finals on BetMGM. However, the Clippers and Bucks have dropped in standing.

While the Lakers are still the betting favorite to win the NBA Finals on BetMGM, the Brooklyn Nets are now listed as the No. 2 team for this future on the sportsbook. The Nets’ odds to win the 2021 NBA Finals on BetMGM are now +300 following the report of the Houston Rockets trading James Harden to Brooklyn.

Of course, this means the Nets are now the betting favorite to win the Eastern Conference this year at +125 as the Bucks (+350) bump back to No. 2 on BetMGM.

There’s also a list of James Harden specials on BetMGM, including:

  • To score 60-plus points in an 2021 regular season game: +225
  • Record a double-double in his first Nets appearance: -110
  • Score 30-plus points in his first Nets appearance: +120

Nets vs. Nuggets: Betting odds, point spread on BetMGM for Jan. 12

The lines, courtesy of BetMGM

  • Point spread: Nets -1.5
  • Money line: Nets -115/Nuggets -105
  • Over-under: 231.5
  • Player over-under scoring props: Kevin Durant 29.5 (-125 O/-105 U) – Caris LeVert 20.5 (-115 O/-110 U) – Joe Harris 12.5 (-115 O/-110 U) – Jarrett Allen 11.5 (-125 O/-105 U)

Place your legal, online sports bets in CO, IN, MI, NV, NJ, PA, TN and WV at BetMGM.

Advice and prediction

Much like the Nets, the Nuggets have been hit or miss this season — which makes them a prime bounce-back candidate for Brooklyn after a frustrating loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Although Denver is coming off back-to-back wins, they weren’t exactly tested by the 76ers — who were without both Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid — and regardless of how surprising the New York Knicks have been this season, a team like Denver comfortably knocking them off isn’t exactly an upset.

On top of those victories, two of Denver’s other three wins came against the Minnesota Timberwolves — who are the worst defensive team in the league and were without Karl-Anthony Towns.

Denver’s other win? Well, that came at the hands of a Houston team that didn’t have John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins or Eric Gordon.

Combine that with the Nets needing to respond after an embarrassing loss and Brooklyn will absolutely cover at -1.5 — which offers a better payout than the moneyline BetMGM set for the Nets winning outright (at time of publication).

The over on the point total is a good bet here, as well. The Nets may bring it a bit more defensively on Tuesday, but Denver can fill it up with the best of them. They’ve only been held under 115 points twice this season.

If you’re looking for a player scoring prop: Jarrett Allen is at a high cost, but he’s scored 12-plus ever game since the loss to the Wizards — dropping 19 on Rudy Gobert and 15 on Joel Embiid in the process.

Prediction: Nets 122, Nuggets 116

BetMGM: Saints favored to beat the Bucs by a field goal

The New Orleans Saints are projected to defeat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by a field goal in their third meeting this year, per BetMGM odds.

[jwplayer YnrFiHUy-ThvAeFxT]

The oddsmakers at BetMGM have opened up their Divisional Round lines with the New Orleans Saints favored to defeat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the third time this season, but barely; New Orleans is a 3-point favorite, with the 51.5 over/under suggesting a final tally near Saints 27, Buccaneers 24.

How does that compare to their two previous meetings — which, again, the Saints swept? In Week 1, the Saints were 3.5-point favorites, snapping Tom Brady’s 74-game streak of being favored to win. That initial over/under was set at 49.5, implying a final score of Saints 27, Buccaneers 23. Instead, New Orleans won 34-23 against Tampa Bay.

However, Brady’s squad was favored in the much-anticipated rematch by 4.5 points. That was the first game of the year in which New Orleans entered as underdogs, projected to lose 28-23. The Saints responded with their best game of the year, leaving Raymond James Stadium on the heels of a dominant 38-3 blowout.

So use that information how you will. These aren’t the same teams as played each other before, but it’s understandable to feel some confidence in the matchup considering the Buccaneers lose both previous games by significant margins.

Nets vs. Thunder: Betting odds, point spread on BetMGM for Jan. 10

Here’s all the betting information you need to know for the Brooklyn Nets’ January 10 matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Brooklyn Nets play the Oklahoma City Thunders on Sunday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, moneyline odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on BetMGM.

The game tips off at 6 p.m. and can be seen on YES Network.

While Kevin Durant will make his return after a three-game absence, Kyrie Irving (personal reasons) is is still out, as are Tyler Johnson (COVID health and safety protocols) Nic Claxton (right knee tendinopathy) and Spencer Dinwiddie (ACL surgery).

The lines, courtesy of BetMGM

  • Point spread: Nets -8.5
  • Money line: Nets -400/Thunder +310
  • Over-under: 226.5
  • Player over-under scoring props: Kevin Durant 28.5 (+110 O/-125 U)

Place your legal, online sports bets in CO, IN, MI, NV, NJ, PA, TN and WV at BetMGM.

Advice and prediction

This is a no-brainer. Even if Kevin Durant had been a late scratch, the Nets have had a day to rest for a Thunder team that won’t be able to keep up with Brooklyn’s high-octane offense. Take the Nets -8.5 and don’t think twice about it.

Durant’s scoring prop is tantalizing, especially with how the odds are set. Taking the over is a risky one, but it’s the second-best one on this slate for Nets fans when considering he’s rested, the game is at Barclays Center and he’s facing his old team.

Prediction: Nets 125, Thunder 112

BetMGM: Saints climb to 10-point favorites vs. Bears

The BetMGM oddsmakers expect the New Orleans Saints to handle the Chicago Bears with ease in a Wild-Card Round game that shouldn’t be close.

[jwplayer oFnMx6BT-ThvAeFxT]

The New Orleans Saints opened as heavy favorites to defeat the Chicago Bears in the Wild-Card Round, but the oddsmakers at BetMGM have only heightened expectations as the week has continued. New Orleans is now favored by 10 points over the visiting Bears, with an over/under of 47.5 — tied for the third-highest total of the week.

And that suggests a final score in the neighborhood of Saints 28, Bears 18, which would be a much more comfortable finish for New Orleans compared to their Week 8 meeting (the Saints escaped with an overtime win of 26-23). Here’s hoping the Saints come close to that.

Other notable spreads around the league this week: the Tennessee Titans are 3.5-point underdogs against the Baltimore Ravens in what’s expected to be the highest-scoring game of the week with a 54.5-point over/under. Next-best is the Buffalo Bills’ matchup with the Indianapolis Colts, who are 6.5-point underdogs facing an over/under of 51.5.
