Projected win totals for every NFL team after the draft
Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence looks like the grand prize in the 2021 NFL Draft. What teams look like they will be in play to draft him?
We know the 2021 NFL Draft will be in Cleveland from April 29-May 1. Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence appears to be the top prize … if the team with the top pick needs a quarterback. What teams that will be seeking help at the position appear to be most likely to have a shot at Lawrence?
How sweet would it be for the Panthers to have Trevor Lawrence simply shift his tack from North Carolina to South Carolina? Matt Rhule has plenty of leash when it comes to turning around a team that is sinking fast. Don’t expect miracles in his first year. And with Lawrence as the prize, losing could be a prize.
Justin Rohrwasser told a Boston TV station Monday he is having his controversial “Three Percenters” tattoo removed.
New England Patriots fifth-round pick, Justin Rohrwasser out of Marshall, told a Boston TV station Monday will have the controversial “Three Percenters” tattoo removed from his left arm.
The kicker was chosen Saturday and afterward, social media took notice of the body art associated with a “right-wing” militia group.
Rohrwasser, who began his college career at Rhode Island before transferring to Marshall, went on WBZ-TV. When questioned about the tattoo after being drafted, he said he would cover it up while playing. Now, he says he realizes that isn’t enough.
“As soon as I saw what it was linked to on Saturday, it was exactly that time I knew I had to get it totally taken off my body,” said the kicker, who got the tattoo five years ago when he was18. “I said cover it up [to reporters], but I want to get it removed from my body. It’s shameful that I had it on there ignorantly.”
The kicker, taken 159th overall, said the body art was not an issue when he kicked at the West Virginia school in college.
“No, never. The first time I found out what it was linked to was on Saturday. That’s why it was so surprising,” said Rohrwasser whose Twitter account quickly went to “These Tweets are protected” after the controversy percolated.
“We were celebrating and hugging [on Saturday]. So happy. I went on to Twitter. I saw that someone had taken a picture of me and put it with my tattoo and linking me to some horrific events — obviously Charlottesville and these horrible things.”
Rohrwasser added: “I’m sorry for all my [friends] and family that have to defend me. Putting them in that compromising position is one of the biggest regrets I’ll ever have. To them, I’m sorry,” he said. “I’m going to learn from this. I’m going to take ownership of it. This is not who I am. No matter what, that’s not who I am. Hopefully, you will all find that out.”
Vegas has updated its over/under win projections following the NFL Draft.
The over/under win totals are out with the NFL Draft concluding. You can shop for the price you like to get the number you want to beat. Here are totals projected for by Betonline.ag.
The over/under on the Cardinals for 2020 was 6.5 in the opening line after the Super Bowl. Vegas has moved it up a half-tick after a draft that opened with Isaiah Simmons from Clemson being chosen by Arizona. This could be a major challenge hurdle to clear as the Cardinals face six games in the NFC West against tough foes before they get a look at the rest of their schedule. They were 3-13 and 5-10-1 in the last two seasons.
The NFL Draft featured a lot of moves and they all did not take place within the seven rounds.
Teams took big swings in around the NFL Draft. And we don’t mean by the combined 13 feet and 714 pounds of offensive linemen the New York Giants and Jets added between them with first-round picks Andrew Thomas and Mekhi Becton.
The Cardinals struck it rich in the first round with Clemson’s Isaiah Simmons. He will have company in the linebacker corps with sixth-rounder Evan Weaver. The Cal product enters the NFL fresh off a consensus All-American season as a senior, in which he led the country with 182 tackles and added 2.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. Weaver may also have the quote of the draft: “I hit people as hard as I possibly can. (I like) really taking the soul out of people. Once you get in the third, fourth quarter, they don’t want to play anymore, because they just don’t want to hang with you.”
Pat McAfee asked Mark Sanchez about the ‘butt fumble’ and the former Jets QB was open about the infamous play.
Mark Sanchez will never live it down. He’s embracing it. That’s what happens when you become part of the cult play forever known as the “butt fumble.”
The play, of course, happened on Thanksgiving 2012 and the New England Patriots were leading the New York Jets 14-0 when disaster struck.

The former New York Jets quarterback was on Pat McAfee’s show this week and, of course, the infamous play came up.
“One of these days there will probably be a good ’30-for-30′ on it,” Sanchez told the former NFL punter. “We’ll all look back and laugh but that’s probably still a ways aweigh.
“… It was just frustrating because of the fallout. … It’s one thing to have an embarrassing play or whatever. But when it feels like the organization and people just kind of write you off because of that and so all the hard work and everything you put into it just gets erased because of one play that’s not necessarily fair. But what is fair?”
I normally don’t talk about this but … it was about as real as it gets. If you catch me complaining about 1 bad play/failure… then take away every great play/success. https://t.co/FLJeJ5ymb8 @4th_and_forever @GOATFARMMEDIA @PatMcAfeeShow

Sanchez showed perspective in discussing the play.
“If I am ever going to complain about that one play, that means I have to take back all the cool experiences and movie premieres, free meals, all the celebrities I met,” Sanchez said. “… sometimes you have to take some bad and sometimes it really sucks. It’s not the end of the world. You can look back and laugh.”
Tampa Mayor Jane Castor wrote a welcome letter to new Bucs, Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski.
Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski have been officially welcomed to Tampa, via an open letter from Mayor Jane Castor.
Castor let the duo know there will be a pair of major events in the area on back-to-back weekends in 2021, the Gasparilla Pirate Invasion and Super Bowl 55.
“Our signature event is the Gasparilla Pirate Invasion and Parade (falls into the ‘have to see it to believe it’ category). This third largest parade in the nation is always big fun, so you must be ready to pARRGHty … but not too hard (I’m talking to you Gronk),” Castor wrote.
Happy to welcome @TomBrady & @RobGronkowski to the greatest city in the world, the @CityofTampa! 😊 pic.twitter.com/K89dj5vc50

“There is plenty for you to do as well Gronk,” Mayor Castor wrote. Although we have to socially distance right now, in no time you will be able to enjoy our nightlife and eclectic neighborhoods … Just remember ‘No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service’ is still in effect around here.” Gronk, you’ve been warned! And, then a message to both … “We are so glad to have you here. While most people retire and come to Florida, you came out of retirement to head our way. That shows the competitive mindset we are used to, while sticking it to the AARP at the same time. Looking forward to growing used to the Gronk Spike!”
Bill Belichick finally fessed up Friday about the secret weapon he uses to sniff out talent.
Bill Belichick is able to find talent anywhere and everywhere. The New England Patriots don’t need for someone to play at a college power for them to contribute in Foxborough.
And now we know why: The coach simply sends out his secret weapon to pick up the scent on hidden talent. And Friday, Belichick shared exactly who digs up the great players. Check out who was behind the laptop as the Patriots planned out their draft moves.
Yep, the family dog.

Classic Belichick.
Tom Brady has been around a long time. So long, some 2020 NFL first-round picks had not celebrated their first birthday.
Tom Brady has been around a long time. How long you ask? So long, he no longer recognizes the house he is supposed to be visiting. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quarterback was drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round April 16, 2000. How old were the 2020 first-rounders on the date the Patriots made arguably the greatest draft pick in NFL history?
Birthdate: Dec. 10, 1996
Age at time of 2000 NFL Draft: 4 years, 3 months and 15 days
The NFL Draft continues with rounds 2 and 3 on Friday, April 24.
