Michael Malone takes a timeout to empty his bench with 5:12 left to play. Nuggets up 103-88. – 12:48 AM
Andrew Greif @AndrewGreif
Without Kennard-Kawhi-PG, Ty Lue called the margin for error “very slim” before tipoff. The Clippers have set out to prove their coach right. Despite 53% shooting, probably John Wall’s best game and solid Mann/Morris nights, turnovers and free throws have cut away at that margin. – 12:40 AM

I need a good night out of Denver’s defense. Clippers have the 28th ranked offense and are without Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Nuggets have the 27th ranked defense — the only teams worse are the Rockets, Pistons, Spurs. This defensive turnaround has to start soon. – 7:42 PM

Key number to know for tonight’s Nuggets-Clippers game:
In 300+ minutes, the Clippers have a -10 Net Rating in the minutes when both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are off the floor. They score just 100 points per 100 possessions. Horrible offense.

DeMarcus Cousins is heading to Taiwan now too? The T1 league is becoming an overseas haven for former NBA All-Star big men! – 12:29 PM

More on this storyline

DeMarcus Cousins is moving and will join his fellow compatriot Dwight Howard in the T1-League. Earlier in the season, we saw Howard, who was denied a contract extension by the Lakers, move forward to free agency only to be rejected again as no team was willing to match his contract expectations. In the end, the former NBA champion decided to join the Taoyuan Leopards in T1 League. -via Taiwan News / November 24, 2022
It was reported that another NBA star, 32-year-old DeMarcus Cousins, also known as “Boogie,” will be joining Dwight Howard in Taiwan’s T1 League very soon. Media outlets on Wednesday (Nov. 23) reported that DeMarcus Cousins is preparing to move to Taiwan, based on a tip from a sports reporter at UDN, Lee Yi-Shen (李亦伸), and several anonymous T1 players. -via Taiwan News / November 24, 2022
There has still been no public confirmation from the T1 League or Cousins about his signing, and it is still unknown which team Cousins will join. However, a TVBS report suggests that it will be a team based in southern Taiwan, which would be either the Tainan TSG Ghosthawks, or the Kaohsiung Aquas. The Basketball Network published a report quoting Cousins as saying “Hi Dwight, I’m coming!” It noted that Cousins became a free agent earlier this year after the Denver Nuggets did not renew his contract. -via Taiwan News / November 24, 2022

Flash forward to now. The Cavs still see similarities between Evan Mobley, their 7-foot, 215-pound franchise pillar, and Giannis Antetokounmpo, the chiseled six-time All-Star, two-time MVP and NBA champion And they aren’t the only ones. “He can be better than me,” Antetokounmpo told cleveland.com in an exclusive interview while walking out of Fiserv Forum following Milwaukee’s 117-102 win Friday night. “I don’t see why he can’t. It’s up to him. I will always try to improve. Every day. But he has the skill set to be a very, very good player. He’s 7-feet tall. He can move really well. He can shoot. He is very smart. As you said, he watches tapes of other players, which is very, very good for a young player. If he takes this seriously, he is going to be great.”
