Texas pitcher Miranda Elish named National Player of the Year

Senior Longhorn pitcher Miranda Elish is named the National Player of the Year.
Elish was the most dominant player on the mound and at the plate in 2020.
She finished the season with a .370 batting average, including seven doubles, four home runs, and 19 RBIs in 23 games played.
Elish had a 1.25 ERA with 96 strikeouts in 84 innings of play and her 11 wins were the most of any pitcher in the Big 12
