Clemson Lacrosse lands the No. 1 recruiting class in the country

Clemson signs the nation’s top recruiting class.

CLEMSON, S.C. – Head Coach Allison Kwolek and the Clemson Lacrosse program have signed Inside Lacrosse’s top-ranked 2025 class nationally with the addition of Tessa DeLuca, Aubrie Eisfeld, Marleigh O’Day, Kyla Orlando, Ella Pauley, Emma Penczek, Kiera Schwartz, Teagan Scott, Alexa Spallina and Ella Wilner. Clemson enters its third season of competition in 2025.

The class is made up of four midfielders, four attackers, a defender and a goalie and hails from Connecticut, Georgia, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and South Carolina.

“We are excited to officially welcome this exceptional class to the Clemson family” said Kwolek, “This historic group will have an immediate impact on our program, and we look forward to seeing them shine with their high school teams this spring. Notre Dame lacrosse lands highly touted recruit

Notre Dame lacrosse lands a four-star goalie with skills and size.

Kieran Walsh has committed to Notre Dame.

The four-star recruit is ranked 32nd among goalies for the class of 2026. The 6-foot, 4-inch Walsh weighs 185 pounds and is right-handed.

Walsh will be joining the Fighting Irish out of Chaminade High School in New York after considering Cornell, Georgetown, North Carolina, Virgina and Penn.

He posted an 11-4 record and 94.31 rating in the 2024 season.

He also played for Team Long Island and Inside Lacrosse had this to say about Walsh’s play: “You notice the size (6-foot-4) right away, and that feels like it was imposing for opposing shooters. But there’s a calm there in the way he saves, the clean stickwork and the ability to find a smooth pass and move out of the cage. He just oozes high-level ability.”

And this: “A 6-foot-4 righty who plays for Chaminade and wears No. 44, it’s impossible to ignore the Liam Entenmann vibes he gives off.”

Notre Dame visits White House with other national champions

Well, this sure was interesting timing.

For two straight years now, Notre Dame’s men’s lacrosse team has reigned atop the college world. Having won its second consecutive national championship, the team was invited to the White House along with other national champions from all over the country. The day finally has arrived, and this fantastic image on the South Lawn should warm Irish fans all over social media:

That not enough for you? Don’t worry. Those aren’t the only photos that were tweeted out:

And if you want to go a little further back, here’s the team at dinner the night before:

Vice President Kamala Harris hosted the event, and the fact that the Irish were in her presence and at the location they were at less than 24 hours after a major related news event is absolutely wild. This will be a story the players tell their kids and grandkids. They would have told them about visiting the White House anyway, but the timing of it all takes this to another level.

Clemson lacrosse flips another 5-star recruit from Syracuse, midfielder Aubrie Eisfeld

Clemson lands the No. 6 recruit in the 2025 class.

After flipping the commitment of the No. 1 player in the 2025 class, Alexa Spallina, from Syracuse to Clemson, the Tigers have flipped another 5-star recruit from the Orange.

Eisfeld is currently the No. 6 overall player in the class, making this already stacked Clemson recruiting class that much more stacked. Head coach Allison Kwolek has been on fire lately recruiting, with the program trending in the right direction.

As reported by Inside Lacrosse, Eisfeld initially committed to Kayla Treanor and the Syracuse Orange on September 19. Hailing from Bayport-Blue Point High School in New York, Eisfeld is a talented midfielder. She plays club lacrosse for the Long Island Yellow Jackets 2025 Spallina team alongside fellow standout player Alexa Spallina.

Clemson women’s lacrosse lands commitment from No. 1 recruit in 2025 class

Clemson flips the top player in the 2025 class.

Alexa Spallina, the top women’s lacrosse recruit for 2025, has switched her commitment from Syracuse to Clemson. Spallina, a two-time USA Lacrosse high school All-American from Mount Sinai (N.Y.), made the announcement on Instagram, thanking her family and coaches for their support.

This move marks a significant win for Clemson, which is entering its third year as a Division I program. The Tigers now have commitments from the top two prospects, with Spallina and Emma Penczek of Manchester Valley (Md.).

Clemson’s recent recruiting efforts have been strong, with highly ranked classes and notable players, including five graduate transfers. The team is coming off an 11-7 season and had several players honored in the ACC. Head coach Allison Kwolek has rapidly developed the program into a competitive force in women’s lacrosse.

Three Notre Dame lacrosse players make Lacrosse Network’s Dream Team

Congrats to the trio of Irish recipients

Fresh off defending its National Championship, Notre Dame lacrosse players were bound for more recognition.

That’s exactly what happened on Thursday afternoon, as The Lacrosse Network announced its inaugural Dream Team. Three Notre Dame players made the list: goalie [autotag]Liam Entenmann[/autotag], midfielder [autotag]Jordan Faison[/autotag] and attacker [autotag]Pat Kavanagh[/autotag].

It should come as no surprise that the three were honored, as they led the Irish’s charge all year long. Kavanagh’s list of accolades just increased, as he was already the ACC Offensive Player of the Year, a first-team All-American, won the programs first Tewaaraton Award while setting the Notre Dame career points and assists records.

Congrats to the three Irish stars on a massively successful season.

National recognition for the national champs!

Notre Dame put the cap on what might have been the most dominating season in the history of college lacrosse a little over a week ago after they defeated Maryland 15-5 to win the national championship and finish the year an incredible 16-1.

On Monday evening the team was mentioned and recognized by the United States House of Representatives.

Congressman Rudy Yakym, who represents Indiana’s Second District (which includes South Bend) in Congress, recapping the incredible season the Fighting Irish put together for all to hear.

Let’s hope Yakym is doing something similar for more Notre Dame athletics squads in not a lot of time.
