WATCH: Jets’ Garrett Wilson one-hands touchdown to tie game vs. Texans

Amid a lot of upset messages from fans heading into the second half, the Jets offense tied their Week 9 matchup against the Texans at MetLife Stadium.

After hurrying up the offense, quarterback Aaron Rodgers found wide receiver Garrett Wilson in the red zone as he crossed the field near the 10-yard line.

A stretched Texans defender missed the ball on a jump, but one hand of Wilson’s found it. That’s all he needed.

He took the ball into the end zone from there and tied the game at 7-7 in the third quarter.

Oh, no: A slow-mo look at Malachi Corley dropping the ball at the goal line

That is one bad mistake.

Malachi Corley could have put the Jets up 7-0 on “Thursday Night Football” in Week 9 against the Texans… but he did not.

The rookie thought he took his second-career touch in the NFL into the end zone for six points. Instead, after rushing the ball 18 yards, he dropped it just before the goal line as he celebrated the play.

Corley is young, but with everything the Jets have been through this season? That’s a really tough pill to swallow.

Not to mention, his team went down 7-0 against the Texans before halftime.

Corley’s unfortunately play, in slow motion, can be found in the clip below:

Jets’ Breece Hall took the loss to the Patriots to heart

Jets’ Breece Hall took the loss to the Patriots to heart

New York Jets interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich said his team’s locker room was “pissed” and “hurt” following a 25-22 crushing loss to the New England Patriots in Week 8.

Nobody showed those emotions more than running back Breece Hall. The leader out of the Jets’ backfield had 80 rushing yards in the defeat but after it, he was taking the loss to heart.

You could see it in his face and heart it in his words.

“Frustrating. Another game of shooting ourselves in the foot,” Hall said. “We shouldn’t have been losing this game.”

From here, the Jets essentially no margin for error. You can tell that Hall knows that.

Hall’s full post-game reaction can be found in the clip below:

What Jets’ Aaron Rodgers said after another loss to the Patriots

The losing skid for the New York Jets has hit five following their trip to the New England Patriots in Week 8.

The Jets (2-6) have hit their lowest point of the year, losing 25-22 to the lowly Patriots. It was not good across the board.

“Every single human being out there has got to be better. Aaron’s got to be better, coaches got to be better,” interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich said.

At the center of it all is quarterback Aaron Rodgers. He had another subpar effort. Rodgers was 17-for-28 passing with 233 yards and two touchdowns.

“We haven’t put it together really since the last time we won a game,” Rodgers said.

The QB went on to discuss the “darkness” the team appears to be in.

The New York Jets were burned both on and off the field in Week 8.

The Jets (2-6) lost to the New England Patriots (2-6) in a 25-22 final. It was not a pretty showing as the scoreboard shows.

New York is now on a five-game losing streak and falling to New England is the lowest point. The Pats are among the worst rebuilding teams in the NFL… and still, the Jets failed to beat them.

The headlines reflected that.

After ending up on the goal line thanks to a pass interference penalty from the Patriots defense, Tyler Conklin found the end zone in nifty fashion.

Conklin made a one-handed grab on a pass from quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The play brought the score to 7-6 after a missed extra point near the end of the first half.
