Normally, we do posts on free Taco Bell when the chain does its “Steal a Base, Steal a Taco” promotion at the World Series, or the “Steal a Game, Steal a Taco” thing they do for the NBA Finals when a road team wins a contest.
But in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic as we’re all in isolation and quarantine, Taco Bell decided it didn’t need a special event to give out a free taco to customers on Tuesday, March 31.
So as we do with these sorts of promotions, here is how you can get a free taco on Taco Tuesday:
Now more than ever, we could all use a free Doritos® Locos Tacos. Get yours this Tuesday 3/31 when you visit our drive-thru.

How can I get my free taco?
The fine print tells us it’s available at participating U.S. locations “only for drive-thru redemption,” which of course is a way to help with social distancing. Please note it’s NOT available for delivery.
When can I get my free taco?
The promotion is for during “local store operating hours.”
Is it a Doritos Locos taco once again?
Yup! Specifically, a seasoned beef nacho cheese Doritos Locos taco.
Can I get more than one free taco?
No! It’s one (1) per customer.
