On episode 175 of Inside the SCCA presented by RaceSchool.com, we connect with SCCA’s Director of Regional Development Chris Robbins. Our topic: “Don’t Be a Jerk.”

After several incidents of members behaving badly, it’s a good time to talk about how that’s handled and what’s in place to deal with those situations. When we’re done, we’ll all come out to the track a little less hot-headed and well informed.

On episode 173 of Inside the SCCA, we connect with Formula F driver Ricky Simpson. I first met Ricky at Buttonwillow Raceway Park. It was late on a Saturday night, and they were working to fix an electrical gremlin. It was Ricky, his uncle and about a dozen super-friendly family members.

I asked how’s the car — they said they thought it was good to go and I wandered off. The next day, Ricky won the race… and he’s been running up friend regularly ever since. Tonight, we’ll talk about FF, racing with family and more.

On episode 163 of Inside the SCCA, we connect with Marc Cefalo. Marc is Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA Super Tour regular and he’s super-fast. In fact, I’ll go out on a limb and say he’s one of the fastest Miata drivers in the country. He’s always at the pointy end of the field. Marc is also the owner of Planet Miata, so he knows a thing or two about how to make those cars go fast. We’ll catch up on his 2024 season.
